UMG Metallverarbeitung GmbH produces drum valves in 2 different materials and diversity sizes from ¾ inch up to 4 inch.
Drum valves made of grey cast iron will be used for discharging oil, lacquers, epoxy resins or similar viscous media.
Drum valves made of red brass will be used, if there must not occure corrosion. Because the drum valves of red brass are resistant to corrosion against seawater, drinking and tap water, neutral salt solutions and non oxidizing acids, they can be used for foods – against drum valves made of grey cast iron.
